Hi, I'm Tungnon the most handsome TDD player. Today I gonna make a guide for the beginners!

I'm very newcomer what should I do?[]

First you can follow the game tutorial so u can understand basic game mechanics. As you progress you may wish to understand something about this game check this out!


Well what should I do to make a great start of this game?[]

Yes this is most important part of the game. Most ppl prefer going with buzzo and dominate the game. Buzzo is ok tho but as the game progress you may need to release him because he is too weak. You may do few things to make the game lots easier and need to get all of dice types before proceed.


What's good dice setup?[]

Dice setup is MOST important of this game. If you equipped your monsters or your heroes with wrong dice you may ended up with defeated. Dice setup has several rules to make monsters and heroes got best performance from their level and their dices.

  1. Don't use more than 2 "risky" dices. Yes,if you studied about probability before. You may need to consider this rule to be important. If you setup more risky dices u got bigger chance to roll one and failed your turn. 
  2. The second dice should be "attack >1" or "attack >x" if your core dice is attack core. "why don't you use 'triple attack' or 'double attack' dices?" As I said before if you equipped more attack dice u get more chacne to roll one. But equipped "attack >1" lessen the chance of roll 1 and you can consider to be "free attack".
  3. The second dice should be same as its core if the core is triple core or higher. "Why don't you equipped 5xattack or 6xattack?" Yes, you can equipped that but it would be better if you got same dice and got benefit from rolling double.
  4. Ignore no.2 and no.3 if you got 3 "attack multiplier >4" or above. Why do you wait chance for getting double while you have better way to increase attack? Yes, you can also lessen the chance to roll 1 also.
  5. The rest two dice slots MUST be attack multipliers. I don't have to explain anymore. Or else if you got only 1 attack multiplier equip health dice and consider it "filler".

Upgrade and use monster catcher to easily catch monsters.[]

In order to catch monsters easily. Upgrade and use monster catcher is necessary. Monster catcher can ignore up to X HP  from overkill (X is level of monster catcher). More level monster catcher is more chacne to catch monster. If you got enough money, upgrade to lv 5 and the job is done.

Pick good monsters from the beginning of the quest.[]

Yes, this is the important part of this game. If you choose the wrong monster to train you may end up with being beaten by OP monsters in the game. "So what monster is a good partner?" You should pick elemental monsters from the beginning to make best advantage to every stage and to save items (I will explain about items at later of this post). The good example of them should be:

Flaming Iball[]

Flamingiball

This one is good starter for fire monster. He can be easily trained at early level. He gets multiplier 1-2 at lv 10 and 1-3 at lv 15 which is early. The last slot can be health dice OR another fire attack for the double chance. But if you got triple attack you may replace the health dice or fire attack dice. He can be caught in Dark Glade,Catacombs and Scorching Desert.

Slime Creeper[]

SlimeCreeper

Another good starter monster for forest type. He got same dice set as flaming Iball so I don't need to explain more. He can in the Dark Glade.


Aquious Snail[]

Also another example of good starter. While isn't got same dice plan with 2 monsters above. He also got nice plan too. Ability to learn multiplier 1-3 at lv 20 is OK. He can be caught in Crumbling Tunnel,Catacombs and Dank Tomb.

These are good exmaple of good starter. You can also try Horror Mutant or Septic Snail .


Equip right items.[]

Yes,this is also important. You need to equip right item to have your monster get to max performance!  You could ONLY equip items those boost attack power for each element. (Don't equip fire with water for example). 


Boost monster's rank when it's going to maxed its level.[]

You need to boost monster's rank! If you don't boost it you can't train monster to be stronger due to its limit. To boost its rank to may follow this method.

  1. Catch the same monster you got. Remember to boost monster catcher's level.
  2. If your monster space is fulled after you catch ignore no.3
  3. Release monster you recently catch.
  4. Put DNA the monster you catch to the same monster you want to boost rank and done!

Some several tips.[]

  1. Grind when you stuck. More grind = stronger monsters.
  2. Saved up to 10 uncut dices and smash them once. More uncut dices you smash you got more chance to get rare shards and ultra shards.
  3. Spend rare shards only necessary. The rare shards are important part of dices and yet hard to find, so spend wisely!
  4. Don't use ultra shard as wild card. Ultra shards are very hard to find and they are ingredient of some powerful dices so again spend wisely!
  5. You can't catch monster with poison dice. Stay warned.
  6. Think your "ideal" party at the late game. Find some monsters you want at this wikia and consider them.
  7. Check this page for learn more about poison.
  8. Lastly,more you progress you gonan find out that your monsters are the important force to takedown powerful enemies NOT your hero.
