An Event Dungeon is a special, 3-area dungeon which changes its location and contents every day, includes elusive monsters, rare Evolution Cubes, and whose monsters use an exclusive type of dice known as Vampire dice. Only one of your characters is allowed to enter a given dungeon per day, so equip your items accordingly.
Stamina[]
Before the dungeon is entered, you are automatically given two out of two stamina bars. Each time the dungeon is entered, one stamina bar is used, and cannot be regain ed by quitting. One bar can only be refilled once both are used by watching one whole advertisement, much like the Cinema.
Monsters[]
Monsters which can be found in the given dungeon are shown as below. The monsters exclusive to the event dungeon appear as a gray silhouette until you capture them, but shown here with an orange outline for clarity. Capturing these monsters will prove much more difficult than normal monsters, as you cannot purchase a monster catcher before you begin.
Locations[]
The Event Dungeon's location rotates once each day–to one not yet seen in the current 16-day period–at 00:00 UTC as seen on the countdown below the difficulty selector. This means that, for every 16-day period, each location is seen once and only once. The names of locations in alphabetical order and monsters found in those locations are shown in the table below. Monsters exclusive to the Event Dungeon are shown in red cells, while locations are shown in green.
Difficulty[]
The two difficulty options for the dungeon are normal and hard, as shown.
Normal mode is the baseline, and as such contains standard Monsters and ordinary Rewards. The amount of monsters in each area does not change between areas, and is determined by your hero's level. The boss of the dungeon has twice as much HP as it would normally have, but this can overridden by the HP boost of its rare form. Interestingly, the boss is also randomly chosen from any monster—within reason—in the Monsterpedia, even those yet to be released. The current boss does not change until the rest of the dungeon rotates.
Hard mode, however, always includes four rare variations of the monsters found in the area, raises the average HP increase of those rare monsters, and doubles the HP of the Boss monster compared to its normal mode counterpart, again overridden by the HP increase of its rare form, which is a much more common sight in this mode. In exchange, each reward chest contains double its contents, including Evolution Cubes. Note that there is no indicator to show that an extra Evolution Cube was found, other than checking your total amount after finding them.
Rewards[]
After defeating the dungeon's boss, you may open one of four chests. One of these contains the rare Evolution Cube, while the remaining chests will contain approximately 350 to 500 Coins. Once the chest is opened, it remains opened until the current dungeon is replaced with a new one for the following 24 hours. The odds to receive an Evolution Cube after each opened chest are listed below.
Number of opened chests | Chance to receive an Evolution Cube |
---|---|
0 | 25% |
1 | 33% |
2 | 50% |
3 | 100% |
