Dice are the primary source of attack power found in the game. They are made using various Dice Shards, which in turn can be found by killing monsters, as treasure after a stage, by releasing caught monsters, or by smashing uncut dice. When smashing uncut dice, it is best to smash multiples at once. While each uncut dice results in 2 shards, smashing in larger amounts raises the chance of rarer shards.

Shards are used to build dice from a plan. When attempting to build the dice two windows will appear. The first shows the shards you have, and the second shows the shards you need. If you are missing shards from the recipe, the game will automatically attempt to use an ultra shard to replace it.

Attack Dice[]

Attack dice are the basic type of dice and undoubtedly the first kind that a player will encounter. They have no special effects of any kind and deal neutral damage against Monsters.

Vampire Dice[]

Vampire dice are a rare kind of dice only used by monsters found within the Event Dungeon. Essentially, they are a cross between health dice and normal attack dice. The only distinction from a neutral Attack dice is that once a monster attacks with Vampire Power, or VP, it will heal either the amount of VP shown on the attack or the amount of HP remaining the targeted enemy has—whichever is lower. Every other function is carried out as if it were a neutral Attack dice. Note that Items which normally increase health restored will not increase health restored by Vampire dice.

Poison Dice[]

At the start of a side's turn, all monsters afflicted with poison will take damage according to the purple number above them. Poison amount will be cut roughly in half after damage is dealt, until the effect reduces down to 0.

Health Dice[]

All Health dice rolls do not do damage. Instead, they have the potential to heal the character that is rolling them. If you end your turn with a healing amount, that amount will be healed on that character. Rolling a 1 on a healing die does not cause your turn to end.

Party Health Dice[]

Party Health dice rolls have the potential to heal the entire party for the amount of the roll. If the equipped monster with party health dice ends the turn without rolling a one on an attack die, the amount will heal the entire party for the rolled party health dice amount. As with standard health dice, rolling a 1 will not cause the turn to end. Health multiplier dice also apply to Party Health dice.

Glitch Dice[]

Special dice

Glitch dice are a special type of dice, hidden in game code, which are assigned to a dice set when the dice value goes beyond implemented values (>176). The player can't acquire them by usual means, as these dice represent an error or corruption of save data.

Glitch dice have an attack attribute, but they are pink colored. Unlike usual attack dice, corrupted ones don't contribute anything to total attack value and don't allow the turn to end, which renders them utterly useless.
